The property experienced an average occupancy of 45 percent despite the fact of it being operational for 11 months in 2018
WELCOMHERITAGE KASMANDA Palace, Mussoorie has registered a growth of 20 percent in the year 2018. The property experienced an average occupancy of 45 percent despite the fact of it being operational for 11 months in 2018 (due to heavy snow and other factors).
Talking about the growth, Dinkar Singh, WelcomHeritage Kasmanda Palace shared, “These are motivating numbers, keeping in mind the operational period of the property. WH Kasmanda Palace is known as a hidden gem of Mussoorie and has been recognized as the oldest building in the city. Every year on an average we receive 1200-1500 queries and in season time, we see almost 100 percent occupancy. It will not be wrong to say that there is more demand than supply. Last year we received 20 percent international guests and 80 percent domestic guests. The percentage of repeat travellers also increased by 25 percent, which showcase the interest of travellers for the property. We are optimistic for 2019 and expect an increase of 30-35 percent from 2018.”
WelcomHeritage Kasmanda Palace has this unmistakable air of old world charm, with a blend of modern luxury with 29 exquisite rooms. The property has pre-served the interior, in its original form. An experience that transports you back, unfolding the saga of 183 years of its existence.
The property also has an in-house restaurant and a Magnolia restaurant, serving a blend of Continental, Indian, Chinese and Regional cuisine. Some special delica-cies served at the property are Til Mil Beans, Curried coconut grilled chicken, Aloo Bhat, to name a few.
