Wat-a-Burger plans to cross 100 outlets by 2021

Currently, the burger chain is operating 60 outlets from 16 cities in India.

Wat-a-Burger, a dynamic burger chain, announces aggressive expansion plans for the new financial year. In the current times when most of the restaurant chains are struggling to continue functioning, Wat-a-Burger is planning on opening new outlets pan India. 

Currently, the brand houses over 60 outlets across 16 cities in India. The burger chain is set to add 40 new outlets in the new fiscal and aims to cross a 100 outlets milestone by end of the next fiscal. The new outlets will offer both, takeaway and dining options. The brand has been working on franchise model and is looking at penetrating in tier 2 areas in the new financial year. 

Considering the pandemic, the burger chain has issued strict SOPs to all the franchisees including the new ones, in order to safeguard the staff and customers. Outlets have to strictly follow the guidelines including- sterilization of the outlets’ premises at regular intervals, temperature checks of the staff members, 100 per cent hygiene standards in the kitchen, etc.

“We have witnessed notable growth since inception. We sell over eighty thousand orders per month. It is true that due to pandemic, we had shut for a time period and it took a little time for things to return to normalcy. Now since everything is on a road to recovery, we are investing in expansion to be able to meet the expected demand in the post COVID era,” said Farman Beig, Co-Founder and CEO, Wat-a-Burger

The brand aims at widening its footprint to 500+ outlets across the country in the next 5 years. Working on a franchise model the brand is proud to be creating new entrepreneurs in different locations pan India.
