W Goa Appoints Abdul Samad as their Executive Chef
With over 15 years of experience in the culinary world, Chef Abdul started his career from Legendary Taj Coromandel as a Management Trainee, he moved to Seychelles for his first experience abroad, giving him the unique opportunity to develop his culinary style.
ABDUL SAMAD Mudassir K has been apppointed as the Executive Chef at W Goa. With over 15 years of experience in the culinary world, Chef Abdul started his career from Legendary Taj Coromandel as a Management Trainee, he moved to Seychelles for his first experience abroad, giving him the unique opportunity to develop his culinary style.
“In my new capacity as Executive Chef of the iconic W Goa, I look forward to enforcing strong values of promptness and creativity in gastronomy, while ensuring the use of quality ingredients and procuring locally from Goa’s exotic agricultural heritage,” said Chef Abdul. “I am really excited to bring to India the diverse cuisines and culinary crafts that I have developed while working with world-class Michelin star Chefs from Europe and Asia.”
Prior to this, Chef Abdul worked as Chef De Partie at Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort where he was nominated for the Spirit of Hilton awards. He was eventually transferred to Hilton Dubai where he gained knowledge about Middle-Eastern cuisine, eventually moving to Bateel LLC. Chef Abdul then moved to Asia to master the skill of Thai cuisine at Shangri-La Hotel in Thailand. After having spent 13 years in foreign countries, Chef Abdul has finally moved back to his home country.
Already renowned for its legendary culinary offerings, Chef Abdul is ready to undertake the exciting challenge of introducing new concepts to W Goa’s signature Spice Traders restaurant and other F&B outlets.
Besides cooking for friends and family in his spare time, Chef Abdul also loves to go biking. His mantra is to wake up each day with a positive vibe to make a difference.
