Vistara revamps inflight dining

Brings back meals to domestic economy class from today

Vistara has launched new in-flight meals across its domestic network today. Starting from October 21, 2021, the airline has resumed serving vegetarian meals in Economy Class on the domestic flights within India. It had temporarily replaced hot meals with pre-packaged snacks in economy class as part of service modifications implemented to maintain the highest standards of safety and hygiene as well as to contribute to the control of Covid-19 spread.

The in-flight menu will be refreshed every three days and will include several scrumptious customer favourites for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. For example, in Economy Class, the breakfast options include Masala Uttappam, Medu Vada, Idli with Sambar and more. Lunch and dinner options include Vegetable Biryani with Dal Makhani, Jeera Pulao with Chana Masala, and more; and snacks include Masala Pao with Bhaji, Hot Garlic Vegetables with Noodles, and more. Despite temperature differences between the ground and the cabin, the new menu has been carefully curated to provide meals that do not compromise on taste or experience.
