Before making his way to JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, Vikas was the Director of Rooms at Andaz Delhi, as part of the pre-opening management team.

JW MARRIOTT Mumbai Juhu is proud to announce the latest addition to their team, Mr. Vikas Arora, who has been appointed as the new Director of Rooms from August 2017. Mr. Vikas Arora comes with over 14 years of experience spanning across the finest international brands.

 Having worked in various verticals of the service industry, he is equipped of in-depth understanding of the business operations. After graduating from The Institute of Hotel Management, Guwahati, Vikas started his career as a butler at Oberoi Hotels and Resorts. He later moved to ITC Hotel Maurya Sheraton as Front Office Attendant, followed by stints with brands like Taj Hotels and Resorts, Chandigarh, Park Hyatt Goa and Four Seasons. 

Owing to his exceptional communication skills, Vikas was entrusted with the responsibility of guest services at Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai. He later moved to Thailand at the Four Seasons Tented Camp as Assistant Camp Manager. Before making his way to JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, Vikas was the Director of Rooms at Andaz Delhi, as part of the pre-opening management team. 

He is a highly motivated, proactive, people person and has traveled extensively across South East Asia exploring places. He also enjoys cycling and playing sports in his free time.
