VIA Turns 10 in Style, Expects 50 Million Users at Anniversary Sale

AS VIA.COM com turns 10 on
July 26, the company is celebrating its decade-long journey by launching the 10th
Anniversary Sale.


Asia’s largest travel network will kick start this sale on
flights, hotels, buses and holidays from 22-26 July across Via.com desktop
sites, mobile site and app.
During the five-day 10th Anniversary Sale, the company
will offer cashbacks and discounts to cash in on immediate travel and upcoming
holiday season.


Customers
can look forward to deals on flights, hotels, holidays and buses. The company
will offer up to Rs 400 off along with 2000 cashback on flight booking; up to
90 per cent off on hotels; up to Rs 40,000 off on holidays; up to Rs 350 Off and
flat 500 cashback on bus tickets. One of the most interesting offers that Via.com
is providing is an exclusive discount on selected hotel bookings. The user can
book a hotel for two or more nights and get one room night just for Rs.10.


The company is expecting 50 million
users and
200 per cent rise in transaction during the offer period. The mobile app of Via
has almost reached the one-million mark. The company expects two-fold increase
in installations during the five-day sale.


Talking
about the upcoming sale, Swaminathan Vedaranyam,
Chief Executive Officer, VIA (see photo) said, “The core DNA of our company is to add
value to the user’s experience. We are giving them a platform to explore
various deals across all our channels during this period. We aim to tap users for immediate
travel and upcoming holiday season. Our 10th Anniversary Sale will
provide offers and discounts across flights, hotels, buses and holiday packages.”


The sale will be amplified
on all social media platforms with a supporting social media campaign.
