Experienced professionals, the trio to ensure smooth operations in different departments at the hotel

Le Meridien Nagpur has appointed Nilesh Vitthal Wareshi as Assistant IT Manager, Shivakumar K as Chief Engineer and Abu Huraira M Kalam Khan as Front Office Manager.

In this new role, Wareshi will oversee Information Technology division of the luxury hotel featuring 132 rooms and six event venues. He had worked with Internet Broadband services and also renowned hotel companies in India prior to this assignment. He will focus on motivating the team, nurturing their spirit of striving-for-excellence, and providing guidance on developing strategies with urgency that will drive in hotel technology awareness

Shivakumar will be responsible for the management, operations, rectification of the entire hotel’s furniture, fixture and equipment while also ensuring sustainable practices and increasing efficiency throughout the hotel. He brings with him 17 years of rich experience in hospitality maintenance department and has worked with various leading star categories of hotels. Shivakumar has worked hotels companies like Accor, Starwood, Marriott and Radisson. His last assignment was with Accor group. Shivakumar has comprehensive knowledge and understanding in technical services, asset and property management. He will be implementing best business practices that improve efficiency, reduces operating costs whilst increasing productivity.

Abu Huraira M Kalam Khan will bring to the table detailed guest interaction methodologies and an ability to provide effective solutions to complex challenges. His key responsibility areas include developing and executing smooth check in, managing selling-oriented activities, analysing problems figures and ensuring exceptional customer service. Recruitment-training-mentoring of the front office team, working in tandem with off-property. He brings with him 11 years of rich experience in hospitality industry and his last project was with The Westin Mumbai Garden City.
