The Union Budget 19' Announces to Add 17 New Heritage Sites

The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) launched the Swadesh Darshan Scheme in 2014-15, adding to the scheme the government has decided to include 17 iconic tourism sites as world-class tourist centres.

THE FIRST union budget by the Modi Government, in its second term, has been announced on fifth July’19 by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) launched the Swadesh Darshan Scheme in 2014-15, adding to the scheme the government has decided to include 17 iconic tourism sites as world-class tourist centres.

The tourism industry has been flourishing in India and there is a great scope to develop the tourist circuits on specific themes in order to attract the tourist.

India is a land of cultural, historical and religious heritage, in order to encourage the arrival of tourist in India 17 new sites are being added. The Indian land will not only flourish in its beauty, but this approach will also allow improving the domestic and foreign inflows in India. Moreover, this approach will further help in advancing the infrastructure and skill development of technology, the mission also focuses to integrate traditional artisans and creative persons in the global market in order to obtain patents for them. Some industry experts have also recommended reforms in the sector in order to make it the fastest growing service industry.
