To help guests stay more eco-friendly and reduce carbon footprint

Radisson Hotel Group is to make all meetings and events across 400+ hotels in its EMEA portfolio carbon negative and it will offset double the carbon footprint of each event held at one of its participating hotels, ensuring every meeting has a positive environmental impact. Carbon Negative Planet Positive is the initiative from the Hoteliers' Group, which aims to reduce the Group's carbon footprint by 30 per cent. Since 2015, the Group has offset over 30,300 tonnes of CO2 at no cost to its clients, the equivalent of removing over 6,500 fuel-powered cars from the road.

Carbon Negative for meetings scheduled between October 18, 2021 and January 31, 2022 and taking place before March 31, 2022. The programme enables clients to host meetings in a sustainable manner by offsetting double the CO2 emissions from meetings and events at no cost to the client, making meetings held at participating hotels carbon negative during this time period.

Carbon Negative, Planet Positive meetings complement the Group's Hybrid Meetings solutions, which debuted in 2020 and provide owners and guests with the flexibility and space optimization needed to better meet today's travellers' rapid lifestyle changes. Hybrid Meetings are available in over 100 hotels across EMEA, contributing to a smaller scope 3 footprint for the client.
