The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru opens The Lotus Oriental

With a seating capacity of 53, the restaurant caters to travellers, corporates as well as guests interested in trying modern versions of the much-loved fare from the East and the far East

The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru has opened its doors to yet another mesmerising restaurant, The Lotus Oriental, specialising in Asian cuisine. Launched on the auspicious day of Loy Krathong, the ancient Thai festival of paying tribute to Lord Buddha and the Goddess of water by floating lotus-shaped lanterns made from banana leaves; it was an evening of lights and festivity that began with people releasing lanterns into the pool with a magnificent view of the open skies above them.

Promising an authentic dining experience with outdoor seating adjacent to the infinity pool, overlooking the everlasting lush greenery of Central Park in the Bhartiya City, The Lotus Oriental brings home flavours from across Asia with the quiet calmness of the orient.

With a seating capacity of 53, it caters to travellers, corporates as well as guests interested in trying modern versions of the much-loved fare from the East and the Far East - from Thai to Japanese, Malaysian to Cantonese, the Lotus Oriental offers a culinary journey across Asia.

“After a successful launch of the property, we are really excited to present, The Lotus Oriental to the people of Bangalore and beyond. From food to décor to hospitality, everything has been minutely planned and conceptualised to offer our guests a unique experience,” said Reuben Kataria, General Manager, The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru.
