The Imperial New Delhi reopens the culinary journeys of South-east Asia and Tuscany

The Spice Route and San Gimignano restaurants open doors on July 24 and July 28, 2021 respectively at the hotel.

The Spice Route re-opens on July 24, 2021 to welcome diners with celebrated Asian flavours. The guests can also savour Classic Tuscan Italian cuisine as The Imperial New Delhi brings back San Gimignano from July 28, 2021. Both the restaurants will now resume for lunch and dinner, focusing on seasonal produce and popular signature recipes.

Vijay Wanchoo Sr. Executive Vice President and GM, The Imperial New Delhi says "We have recently opened the historic 1911 Restaurant and are now excited to bring back the most sought after dining destinations in the capital – ‘The Spice Route’ and ‘San Gimignano’. A variety of wood-fired pizzas will be available at San Gimignano along with its traditional Tuscan recipes while I am sure the revival of the South-East Asian flavours at The Spice Route restaurant will surely be a thrilling experience for our guests, eagerly waiting for its re-opening.

Orchestrated with passion by Chef Veena Arora, The Spice Route menu crafted almost artistically is starred by gems such as Chemeen Thoren, Tom Yum Kung, Kung Nang Phad Khing, Kaeng Kheow Waan Kai and Phad Phak while San Gimignano boasts a premium selection of Italian wines that are a perfect match to the thoughtfully created menu featuring Home-made pappardelle pasta in a lamb and porcini mushroom sauce, Pan braised Chilean sea bass with capers, Grilled artichoke and toasted pine nuts with micro herbs and more such classics by Executive Chef Prem K Pogakula, making San Gimignano an everyday dining place in a romantic and relaxed setting.
