Tedco School of Culinary Arts launches French Patisserie Masterclass

The course will be taught personally by the finest bakery and pastry Chef Sahil Mehta at the campus

Tedco School of Culinary Arts has launched a specially curated “French Patisserie Masterclass” with a passion and vision for nurturing future leaders in the bakery and pastry industry. The course aims at filling the gaps in the education system which do not provide the fundamental skills demanded by the labor market.

An exclusive and intensive seven-month course will be taught personally by one of India’s finest and first certified bakery, pastry and chocolate experts, Chef Sahil Mehta, over 450 hours at Tedco’s Connaught Place campus. The course will cover theory as well as practical knowledge. Upon completion of the course, Tedco will give students an opportunity to embark on industrial training in either a 5-star hotel or a bakery kitchen for a period of three months. The students also have different opportunities of  3 or 6 month paid internships in the patisserie capital of the world, France.

The class size is kept maximum to 10 students per batch so that each student can get Sahil’s personal attention and their progress can be kept in check with a team of specialty chefs. Starting this month, the students will be taken through an adventurous ride in the world of exquisite flavours & expert baking techniques. They will be taught numerous aspects of modern cookery including how to work in a professional kitchen environment with international safety standards.

“Students learn well when they get access to practical education along with theory. With this specially curated course, students will be able to learn which can’t be taught in a normal class,” said Rahul Misra, Founder, Tedco School of Culinary Arts.
