Serving More than Business: Radisson Blu Faridabad

BW Hotelier recently spoke to Harpreet Vohra, GM of Radisson Blu Faridabad, to know more about his plans with the property.

“YOU CAN have the best property in the world, you can have the most wonderful amenities in the world, but at the end of the day, it comes down to the great, passionate people, working really hard to provide the best service, the best memories for the guests,” believes Harpreet Vohra, who is the pre-opening General Manager at Radisson Blu Faridabad. Vohra brings with him an enriching experience of 21 years in the hospitality industry which includes stints in Delhi and Mumbai. BW Hotelier recently spoke to Vohra to know more about his plans with the property. Excerpts:

How do you plan to attract more clientele?

Radisson Blu Faridabad being the first 5-star Delux in Faridabad gives us an edge over the other hotels in the vicinity. Generally, the social and MICE segment lookout for such options and we cater to their cravings serving them business and leisure facilities. This hotel being located near to the industrial township, helps us gain business.

Being very well connected with the Delhi NCR region and now with the recent inauguration of Faridabad-Noida expressway has made us open our horizons wider than before in terms of clientele. Medical tourism is going to be a key factor in terms of driving business due to the presence of various hospitals nearby catering to an international clientele.

Last but not least, we offer Tattva Spa and state-of-art Fitness Centre for our guests helping them rejuvenate and stay fit.

Do you think location serves as a hurdle to the hotel?

With the ease of connectivity to Delhi, Gurgaon and now even Noida, I think we are most strategically located unit. We not only can be accessed by road, Metro station is just at a stone’s throw distance away. We do get clientele coming in from far off locations. This property being on the edge of South-Delhi border, it serves as a getaway destination for guests apart from business reasons.

What are your plans for weddings and MICE?

The way forward for any hotel is MICE in terms of conferences and exhibitions as well. Weddings are a one-stop revenue earning segment and our hotel is quite competent to provide solutions for every requirement as such. We boast of around 18000sq.ft area and our strengths are location and wide array of facilities.

Brief us about your f&b offerings and the responses so far?

It is safe to open with the quote “First we eat, then we do everything else.” F&B offerings in our hotel are diverse and liked by our clientele. We offer 4 dining outlets to start with. Broadway offers you a choice of a-la-carte and buffet with multi-cuisine options like Indian, Continental and Oriental.

As per the demand of Indian cuisine which is most favoured by our clientele, we have a fine-dine Indian speciality- The Great Kebab Factory which takes you through an era of Mughlai Cuisine specialising in our mouth-watering kebabs and other dishes.

Cove- the Bar offers you solitude with contemporary seating and allows you to spend time with yourself or enjoy your company with others.

Tea-studio offers you our in-house bakery delicacies with a variety of beverages to offer where you can unwind and de-stress yourself with a good cup of coffee.

To sum it up, every hotel serves you food and beverage however the difference lies in the quality and service standards which we deliver to precision!
