Salil Kopal Sheraton Hyderabad's New DOSM

An alumni of Institute of Hotel Management, Ahmedabad, Kopal's career in the hospitality industry began shortly after his graduation as he joined the EIH Ltd in 2004 as the Front Office Associate. Since then, Kopal has grown from being a Front Desk Executive to his last role as Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing at The Ritz-Carlton Company LLC.

SHERATON HYDERABAD Hotel, Gachibowli, announced the appointment of Salil Kopal as its new Director of Sales & Marketing. Kopal comes with over thirteen years of valuable experience and having associated with leading hotel brands like The Oberoi Group, Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces, and Marriott International, Salil will be leading the Sales and Marketing team at Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel.

Since then, Kopal has grown from being a Front Desk Executive to his last role as Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing at The Ritz-Carlton Company LLC.

His current role entails him to lead the Sales & Marketing function at the hotel and to cater to various industrial segments of Hyderabad. Salil will be supervising the strategic marketing alliance for the hotel, ensuring that the property is seen as being the principle innovator in the market place and the Hotel of Choice.

On being appointed as the Director of Sales and Marketing, Kopal said, “I am honoured to have been trusted and appointed as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel. I believe that the most vital skill a person possesses is the ability to connect with people, and I have tried to enhance this very characteristic.
