Prior to that, Ruban joined Hilton with Hilton Chennai in January 2016 as a Director of Operations, he has more than 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry which includes assignments in different cities across India in business hotels, luxury resorts and convention center in international brands like Hyatt and Accor.

RUBAN DAS has been appointed as the General Manager for Hilton Chennai. In his capacity, Ruban will be overseeing all operational and commercial aspects of the hotel and also will be responsible to drive the hotel’s performance in the market through innovative strategies.

For demonstrating the highest levels of quality and customer relationship management, Ruban was recently presented with ‘Leader of the Year – Asia Pacific’ in the recently concluded Brand Award for 2018. Prior to his present role, Ruban had been a General Manager with DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore where he helped the hotel to gain considerable market share through consistent performance.
