Preferred Hotels & Resorts Announces Growth of Global Portfolio Including 2 Hotels in India

The prominent destinations include Jaipur, Bengaluru, New York, Lisbon, the Yucatan Peninsula and more.


PREFERRED HOTELS & Resorts, announced the growth of its global portfolio with the addition of 15 new member hotels between October 1 and December 31, 2018. The prominent destinations include Jaipur, Bengaluru, New York, Lisbon, the Yucatan Peninsula and more. 

In India, Preferred Hotels & Resorts has also added of 2 hotels in its member portfolio - Hotel Clarks Amer(Jaipur, India) and Clarks Exotica – Convention Resort & Spa (Bangalore, India). 

Highlights of the new additions include:

Hotel Clarks Amer (Jaipur, India) 

First launched in 1972 before taking on its current moniker in 1973, Hotel Clarks Amer is an iconic five-star property frequented by heads of state, celebrities, and numerous international cricketers over the decades. Located in the heart of the bustling ‘Pink City,’ guests will appreciate the warm hospitality and serenity of the hotel, which is flanked by the city’s only botanical gardens featuring more than 2,000 trees and 44 different bird species. In addition to 215 spacious guestrooms and duplex penthouse suites decorated and upholstered to reflect the vibrancy of colorful Rajasthan, Hotel Clarks Amer boasts Swedish and Thai massage specialists at Clarks Spa; Rajasthani and international dining outlets, including taBlu, Jaipur’s oldest open-air rooftop café; and a tree-lined outdoor swimming pool. Clarks Exotica – Convention Resort & Spa (Bangalore, India)

Clarks Exotica Convention Resort & Spa recently announced to invest INR 300 cr (excluding land cost) to open a convention hotel near Bengaluru International Airport. Since its origination in the year 2007 by Ronald Colaco, Clarks Exotica Convention Resort and Spa has served efficaciously to the different sector of clientele. Considering Bengaluru as a hot destination for global conferences and MICE events, Clarks Exotica is now planning up for a convention centre with an attached hotel of 400 rooms in the coming two to three years.
