Pranav Rungta was recently appointed as Managing Committee Member at NRAI’s 37th AGM held in September 2019 and now officially takes office as the new Head of NRAI Mumbai Chapter.

Rungta has been a part of the Industry for over 12 years now. He opened his first restaurant, Garden of Eden in Pune in 2007. Subsequently, his company got an opportunity to take over the Iconic Café Royal in Colaba, Mumbai which they relaunched in the original avatar.

As the industry started shifting towards deliveries, he set up a chain of cloud kitchens under the name Curry Me Up & Chow Me Up delivering North Indian & Chinese food. His latest venture is Tamak, a unique micro restaurant specializing in authentic North Indian cuisine.
