MRG Group appoints Nihit Chandra as Corporate Training Manager. He brings with him 14 years of experience. He has amassed diverse experience in the world of academics, cruise training and hospitality, having worked with leading hospitality companies in India.

His professional career began after he obtained a degree in Hotel Management & Catering Technology from I.H.M Lucknow and completed his Certified Hospitality Trainer certification to start with IHM Pusa as a Faculty. Over his career span, he has worked with CAI, ITC Fortune, The Park and RHG . Prior to joining MRG Group as Corporate Training Manager, his last assignment was with IHG Hotels in Chennai as Training & Quality Manager.

What distinguishes him from others is his ability to handle multiple roles and customise his trainings as per the business dynamics. He stood strong with his hold on quality aspect of hotels which plays an important role in guest experience and delight. He strongly believes that training is the most critical thing in running a business.

A well trained team member can do wonders in terms of keeping the brand name high and for great guest experience which is directly interlinked with some great revenues. Chandra is responsible for the streamlining and implementing overall training and quality of all the units. 

He unwinds by spending time with his family and also loves reading and playing badminton.
