Mitron Bar and Café in Mumbai Opens to Cater to Large Groups with Pocket-Friendly Experiences

INSPIRED BY the globally popular television sitcom ‘Friends’ in terms of brand design, Mitron Bar and Café that opened its doors recently, sums it up from the inside to cater to groups of people from all walks of life. Strategically located at the ground floor of Peninsula Grand Hotel, right next to Sakinaka Metro Station, Mitron replaces the previous all-day diner Caraf.

Evolved in accordance to the modern-day guests’ needs, Mitron considers into every aspect and hence delivers desired experiences to the patrons. Gaurav Shetty, Director, Gautham Hospitality, while speaking about the cafe said that considering the vicinity to many corporates, the employees usually go out for lunch and dinner in big groups, for which they have to shell out a huge amount for the exorbitant prices the eateries usually display. Also, there are very fewer outlets in the vicinity with such big space to accommodate these large groups at once, Shetty added.

Hence, without compromising on the space and ‘upscale bar’ vibe, Mitron was launched early in this year. It focuses diligently on both the food and bar menu by keeping them pocket-friendly and appealing. With a capacity of 150-200 pax, Mitron dons a food menu curated by the Executive Chef Siddhesh Raut - ‘Pure Fusion, No Confusion’ which boasts of some delectable dishes, usually in bite sizes including some of the popular ones like Misal Bunny Chow, Anda Bhurji Nachos, Paneer Bruschetta, among others. Moreover, their signature alcoholic ‘Banta Soda’ in many flavours and a selection of premium labels at MRP are some of the USPs that have been roping in a lot of wine and spirits connoisseurs to Mitron too.

Furthermore, to attract and promote more of group and community dining, Mitron has introduced the ‘Bigger the group, bigger the discount’ concept, where the discount is levied in particular brackets ranging from 5%, 10% and many more with respect to the number of people in a group visiting the café.
