Maneesh Vijaykumaran Appointed as Director of F&B at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa

He will be leading the culinary team and his role entails introduction of new menus, uphold menu standards, ensure high quality service, increase food & beverage profitability, and manage labor and food costs.

MANEESH VIJAYKUMARAN has been appointed as the Director of Food & Beverage at the Sheraton Grand Resort & Spa. He brings with him more than a decade of expertise in the hospitality industry. In his new role he will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the food and beverage department and delivering excellent guest experiences. He will be leading the culinary team and his role entails introduction of new menus, uphold menu standards, ensure high quality service, increase food & beverage profitability, and manage labor and food costs.

Prior to joining Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa, Maneesh has been associated with renowned names in the hospitality industry. He began his career at the Park Sheraton, Chennai as the Food Beverage Trainee  after which he joined hotels like the Jumeirah Beach Hotel Dubai, JA Resorts & Hotels Dubai and JA Resorts & Hotels both in Dubai and  Maldives. He also served as operations manager at Deliverance in the UAE wherein he led various pre-opening operations from scratch to completion alongside Michellin star Michel Roth. His diverse experience has helped him master the nuances of the trade and seasoned him with handling a diverse clientele.

Hailing from Chennai, Maneesh is an alumnus of Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Chennai.  Also has the Honors degree in International Hospitality Management  from Prestigious Emirates academy of Hospitality Management in Dubai .In his leisure time he likes to unwind by watching Travel, Food Documentaries , Online Chess.
