Lucaris to Launch a New Range of Cocktail Glasses

LUCARIS - CRYSTAL of Modern Asia, a luxury lead-free crystal wine ware brand of Ocean Glass PCL is planning to launch a new exclusive range of cocktail glasses which guarantees to play a key role in showcasing the talented skills of bar professionals. “At Lucaris, we are constantly evolving and looking at all possible opportunities to help grow the business. The cocktail scene keeps on changing, and is globally diverse and multifaceted sector which we are looking to tap into,” says Silparat Watthanakasetr, Managing Director of Ocean Glass Public Company Limited.

Today Lucaris is partnered with multiple brands across India, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Thailand. In India, the company is catering to hotels like Hilton, Crown Plaza, Hyatt Regency, Roseate, and Holiday Inn.

Speaking about the USP of the company, Watthanakasetr said, “The new lead-free crystal glass composition has physical aesthetics comparable to conventional lead crystal. This has resulted in exceptional clarity and brilliance, with extra strength and durability. According to Watthanakasetr, Wine is relatively new in India and it takes some time to educate the consumers how to drink and really appreciate wine. Adding more to this he said, “The main challenge is that wine consumption is at a very nascent stage in the Indian market. India is primarily a whisky drinking nation. This creates a big challenge for Lucaris to promote the crystal wine glasses in the market.”
