INDIAN ACCENT is all set to serve the taste buds of London after two prosperous outposts in New Delhi and New York. Rohit Khattar, Chairman, Old World Hospitality, said, “We are delighted to bring Indian Accent to London. After a successful run of our other restaurant, “Chor Bizarre” for 20 years at the same location, we hope London embraces Indian Accent with the same warmth.”

The Indian Accent is the only restaurant from India on the World’s 50 Best list the past three years, and was also awarded the San Pellegrino Best Restaurant in India on Asia’s 50 Best List for each of those years. In 2017, Trip Advisor has rated Indian Accent No. 1 in India, No. 2 in Asia and No. 19 in the World.

Chef Manish Mehrotra at the restaurant creates Indian dishes with the influence of global techniques with dishes like- Soy keema, quail egg and lime leaf butter pao; and Kashmiri Morels, walnut powder, parmesan papad, makhan malai, and ghee roast lamb with roomali roti pancakes. The London location will also feature local produce and creative touches to British classics such as black pudding, stuffed here inside kulcha flatbreads.

Set across two floors, the restaurant, designed by Design LSM, has materials familiar to Indian architecture like- a combination of brass, marble and combed pearl-lustred walls with rich crushed emerald green velvet upholstery. Indian Accent will be open for lunch, Mondays to Saturdays, and for dinner daily.
