Started in the year 1989, with a pure passion to grow trees, today Karma Lakelands has successfully planted and nurtured over 2,00,000 trees and plants in a stretch of 300 acres of land. “We do not believe in simply mentioning our eco-friendly initiatives like bio-composting, water harvesting, solar energy utilization, organic living or about our idyllic locations for all sort of events requirement. Golf, by definition is a major land guzzler. The greatest challenge for Khurana was putting these hundreds of acres of contiguous land together through acquisition from scores of land owners. “Then the challenge was of translating an international golf course design on the ground with Indian contractors & shapers who hardly have any clue of golf course construction,” he added.
