ROHIT JOSHI has recently been appointed as Hotel Manager at the InterContinental Hotel Mumbai. Having been associated with the company for two years, Joshi was previously assigned as Director F&B at the hotel.

During his tenure as the Director F&B, Joshi revamped the Long & Short Gastro Bar introducing new cocktails, great music, exciting bar nights and themed evenings. At the Dome too, he introduced innovative cocktails and special guest experiential packages. The Kebab Korner also hosted special festival dinners and introduced new items on their menu.

As Hotel Manager, Joshi will now handle a larger portfolio of duties. Besides functioning as the hotel’s primary strategist, he will be responsible for its financial performance and ensure delivery of return on investment. With his F&B experience, he will ensure that all the food outlets at the Intercontinental continue to increases guest footfalls by continually upgrading the standards of their cuisine and bar.

As Hotel Manager he will plan, organise and direct all hotel services including the front office and housekeeping and further oversee the human resource department.

The hotel has been recently renovated boasting of new services and state-of-the-art facilities and amenities. Joshi aims at positioning the InterContinental Marine Drive as the first choice for both foreign tourists and Indian travellers and corporate guests.
