Indian Business Travelers Most Likely Globally to Feel More Creative and Productive on Work Trips

CWT’s research shows that six in ten travellers globally are most productive when working face-to-face and collaborating with colleagues as opposed to working alone (30%) or remotely (14%).

RESEACH BY CWT  the B2B4E travel management platform, shows that six in ten travellers  globally feel more creative and productive when traveling for business.

A survey created and conducted by Artemis Strategy Group between 29 January and 9th February 2019 shows how people are more creative and productive while they are on a business trip  .

 From the responses collected it was noted that  Overall, travellers from Asia Pacific are more likely to have increased creativity (65%) and productivity (64%) compared to travellers from the Americas (58% and 60% respectively) and Europe (53% and 51% respectively). 

Indian business travellers are the most likely globally to feel a boost in creativity and productivity when traveling for work. 83% of the Indian respondents said they feel more creative on business trips, while 85% said they’re more productive on the road.

Further it was noted that Millennial travellers are more likely to say that they are more creative and productive when traveling for business. Those in the Americas lead the way (77% feeling more creative and productive), followed closely by those in Asia Pacific (75% feeling more creative and 73% more productive). European millennials rank third (58% and 57% respectively).

CWT’s research also shows that six in ten travellers globally are most productive when working face-to-face and collaborating with colleagues as opposed to working alone (30%) or remotely (14%). Asia Pacific travellers’ productivity benefits the most from working face-to-face: 61% versus 53% for travellers from the Americas and Europe.

Again, Indians expressed the greatest preference globally for in-person meetings. 72% of the respondents from India said they’re most productive when they can talk to their colleagues and business associates face-to-face. The rest were split between working alone (17%) and collaborating remotely using tools such as emails, chat and video-conferencing (11%).
