HRAWI appoints Kunal Gujral as Secretary General

Kunal Gujral brings over two decades' industry experience in F&B, sales and marketing

The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI) has appointed Kunal Premkumar Gujral as its Secretary General. Gujral has over two decades of industry experience across F&B, sales and marketing, and prior to joining here, he has served at the Riverside Resorts and Holiday Homes in Goa as its Vice President, Revenue and Sales. He has worked in some of the finest and renowned hospitality brands in the country.

“As Secretary General of HRAWI, my role entails liaising and facilitating the various processes and functions of the office for efficient management of the association and its affairs. Other than this, policy advocacy with the Government, membership service and most importantly carrying out all such tasks to mitigate the hardships caused to members due to the pandemic will be on priority. I will do my best to carry out the functions with efficiency and I thank the EC for reposing faith in me. My experience in hospitality has equipped me with the requisite industry knowledge and it will be my endeavour to put this knowledge to optimum use for the benefit of the Association and its members,” said Gujral who is trained in food and beverage service, housekeeping, front office and food production. Gujral holds a bachelor’s degree from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition (IHM) – Mumbai.
