HPMF Convention & Awards in Jodhpur on September 14-16

The three day convention will feature presentations and discussions on a wide range of topics around the field of procurement management. The last day is crowned by the awards ceremony which will see the best and brightest in the field being honoured by the organisation.

THE HOSPITALITY Purchasing Manager’s Forum (HPMF), is organising its annual Convention and Awards to celebrate its seventh anniversary. The event is taking place from September 14 to 16, 2017 at the Indana Palace, Jodhpur. The topic of this year’s Convention is ‘Seven Elements Of The Universe’.

Conceived in 2010, HPMF is today, a global organisation with over 1400 members from the hospitality purchasing fraternity. Training and Development of procurement professionals, Consolidated procurement, industry product standardisation, volume discounts, improved professionalism in purchasing process, development of potential vendors, green initiatives and corporate social responsibilities are some of the key elements of HPMF.

The Schedule

Day 1 will comprise of receiving and welcoming delegates to Vibrant Jodhpur! There is a tour of the historic city and the day will conclude with a sit down dinner at one of the most beautiful palaces of Jodhpur.

Day 2 is the inauguration and the first day of the convention. There will be presentations and panel discussions about latest trends in organic procurement and on future of hospitality procurement. This will set the tone of the two day convention. In the evening delegates will be taken to a surprise location for cocktails and dinner.

Day 3 Apart from the keynote presentation, there will be two panel discussions and four presentations on different topics covering the entire spectrum of hospitality procurement. The Way Forward for the Purchasing Manager, Green Hotels, Organic Procurement and Tips for being a successful buyer are some of the topics to be covered in presentations made by senior working professionals from across India.

On both days the delegates will be busy with B2B Meetings in the second half where the 30 top suppliers of India will have face to face meetings with them.

The evening of Day 3 will see the HPMF awards for Procurement Excellence in Hospitality Industry. These awards will help the fraternity to get motivated and work better.
