HITCHKI Gearing Up With 8 New Outlets by 2019

'In the next financial year we are planning to launch 8 new outlets of HITCHKI in three different cities in India and three International Operations,' says Arjun Raj Kher, Brand Head, HITCHKI.

FURTHER TO its successive launch of outlet in Powai, HITCHKI, a restro-bar has recently launched its second outlet in BKC within the span of five months. Apart from that, HITCHKI is now gearing up for the launch of its third outlet in Thane. “However, in the next financial year we are planning to launch 8 new outlets of HITCHKI in three different cities in India and three International Operations,” told Arjun Raj Kher, Brand Head, HITCHKI in a conversation with BW Hotelier.

HITCHKI is an internationally aspirational brand that focuses on regional cuisine and introduces the elements of nostalgia to the dining experience, the food and the bar offerings. The carefully priced menu integrates regional and traditional flavours from across India and offers classic favourites with modern twists. “We have defined the word ‘Experience’ as uniqueness of five attributes – Food, Drink, Music, Service and Ambience and we assure that we never let any of these attributes go below our defined standards,” added Kher.

Kher feels that over the past two years, the growth of F&B Business in Mumbai is unprecedented. Concentration of Business in South Mumbai and Bandra has started evolving to all other parts of Mumbai, including the suburban areas. He expects a lot of positive changes in the business trends in the coming few years. “Though the ease of doing business has a lot of blockages and we can see newer brands entering the city and making revolutionary changes,” he stated.

Speaking about the Y-O-Y sales, Kher concluded, “We have received an overwhelming response at both the outlets in terms of sales and we are looking forward for 12 percent  to 16 percent increase in the Sales and Service Group.”
