Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty appoints Chef Yogender Pal as Executive Chef
With more than two decades of culinary experience Chef Yogendar Pal will be exploring the rich culture of Kerala and using it to curate unique experiences for the guests.
Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty recently appointed Chef Yogender Pal as Executive Chef. With more than two decades of culinary experience, he has worked with leading Indian and International luxury hospitality brands such as The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, Marriott, Hilton, Intercontinental Hotels, and Claridges Hotels and Resorts.
Commenting on his appointment, Chef Pal said, “I am excited to join the fantastic Grand Hyatt Kochi and be a part of the team there. I look forward to exploring the rich culture of Kerala and use it to curate unique experiences for the guests visiting the state.”
Chef Yogi has been instrumental in opening specialty restaurants, commissioning kitchens, and creating innovative dining concepts. Major publications have recognized his culinary and administrative achievements. He has received the Times Food Award for Treforni (Best Italian 2018), Times Food award for RIKA (Best Modern Asian), and other recognitions. He has also participated in leading food festivals across the globe.
Hailing from Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh and having lived across India, he has a flair for languages and can speak eight Indian languages fluently. Besides reading, he enjoys participating in marathons and kick starts his day with jogs around the city.
