The erstwhile MSR Hotel and Spa Bangalore began its operations in 2011 under the brand name of Movenpick Hotel and Spa Bangalore; a strategic partnership between MSR Hotels Pvt. Ltd and the Swiss Hospitality giant Movenpick Hotels and Resorts. This alliance concluded at the end of 2017, and the hotel has now been bought over by Gokulam Hotels and Resorts.  

Gokulam Hotels and Resorts are owned by Sree Gokulam Chit & Finance Co. Pvt. Ltd. (SGCFL), the flagship company of the GOKULAM GROUP OF COMPANIES. Under their hospitality division, the company has properties across South India (Tamil Nadu and Kerala) under the brand name ‘Gokulam Park Hotels and Resorts’.  With the addition of the MSR Hotel and Spa Bangalore to their portfolio, the group aims to strengthen its presence in the Southern region further and establish their brand in Bangalore.
