Goa's all-new seafood all-new seafood destination – C2C (Coast To Coast)

Located against the backdrop of Arabian Sea, it showcases a plethora of signature coastal flavours

Taj Resort & Convention Centre, Goa recently opened its doors to Goa’s all-new premium seafood destination - C2C (Coast to Coast). The opulent dining is located against the backdrop of the magnificent Arabian Sea showcasing a plethora of signature coastal flavours. Inspired by the tales and travels from across the oceans, the menu highlights pescatarian favourites from around the world including the southern coast of India. 

The tastefully designed space is inspired by the sea with elements and hues of the coast primarily in soothing tones of grey and azure. The seating is divided in three – the indoor lounge, the al fresco located against the backdrop of the sea and the private dining which floats atop an independent water body. Open only for dinner, C2C is the ideal spot for a sundowner or an evening soirée. 

The menu is curated by Chef Edridge Vaz and his team of skilled professionals to bring forth the best of seafood from across the globe. Speaking about the coastal fare, Chef Vaz expresses, “We are truly excited to create a one-of-a-kind seafood experience that has not been witnessed before. Using a contemporary approach, the menu is simplistic and uncomplicated but scores high on flavour. Goa being located on the Konkan coast of India contributes to the menu with select favourites from the state. C2C is a dining experience reimagined with the signature service of Taj, seeped in elegance and grandeur”

The menu flaunts of selections from the western, eastern and Indian shoreline. The Chef’s signature preparations include Tuna Tataki, served on a Himalayan salt slab; Chatka King Crab in spicy chilli-coriander butter glazing; Baked Seabass Filo, baked seabass fillet in filo pastry; Spiced Salmon Steak, Norwegian salmon spiced and served with hollandaise sauce; Lobster Thermidor, served in light mustard cream sauce glazed and Crab Xec Xec, traditional Goan crab preparation in coconut and spice gravy. In addition to seafood, the menu also offers the choice of succulent meat preparations and vegetarian delicacies.
