GINGER RECENTLY signed their first hotel in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. Srinagar, a leisure destination is popularly known for its snow-capped mountains surrounding the Dal Lake. The hotel located at Barzulla is a comfortable drive from the airport and key tourist spots like Shalimar Bagh, Pari Mahal, Shankaracharya Temple and Jama Masjid. Ginger Srinagar is slated to open in this year.

Speaking about the development, Deepika Rao, Managing Director and CEO, Ginger said, “We are happy to partner with Mr Habib Ullah Mir to develop this hotel in Srinagar. This will be our second hotel in Jammu & Kashmir, after Ginger Katra.”

With the addition of this hotel, The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) will have four hotels across its brands Vivanta and Ginger in Jammu & Kashmir.
