FEROZ PATEL has joined Fairfield by Marriott Pune Kharadi, which first property in Maharashtra as the Head Chef since the hotels' inception in Pune. Born and brought up in Kamshet, a small village near Lonavala, Chef Feroz has completed his Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HMCT) from Pune University and has always had a passion to become a chef. With 12 years of experience in the culinary department, Chef Feroz comes with the comprehensive skill set and knowledge in Food & Beverage Operations. His earlier assignments include Le Meridian Pune (Grand Sheraton), Carnival Cruise lines, Oakwood Worldwide, Premier INN, Sarover Group & Citrus Hotels.

A recipient of multiple awards in  “ Chef Competition Inter-Hotels 2012 & 2013” also Chef Feroz has been recognized as Manager of Year Award at Oakwood for the year 2015. His expertise’s in the culinary domain of hospitality industry and specializes in Bakery, Continental and Fusion foods. His roles and responsibilities include the in-room dining, restaurant (s), banquet event operations and hotel’s overall culinary operations, menu designing, profitability and menu engineering, strategic planning and market survey for upcoming menu implementation, maintain and conduct training in related to perform higher quality.

He also has the added responsibility to go out on sales & also do the planning of order and execution of equipment’s from stewarding for all daily operations, supervise junior associates in the maintenance and cleanliness working area as well as hygiene, keep a check on food cost and controlling wastages and last but not the least, to maintain a high standard of discipline and team spirit at time of high pressure and heavy workload in the section. A great mentor and a support system for his team, his nature enhance his personality to maintain a team spirit to create wonders in the kitchen and special moments for his guests.
