AS THE temperatures soar and school vacations near, Sheraton New Delhi announces the first-ever opportunity for teens to enrol in a five-day summer school and groom themselves for a global environment.

From stitching a button, fixing a light, making a bed, packing a suitcase to culinary heritage walks. Sheraton New Delhi introduces a syllabus which outlines the fundamental concepts on developing independent living skills.

The demand for educational activity classes is growing rapidly and many specialized summer classes are springing up in the city to address the concerns of parents who seek to involve their children in ways that would indirect academic benefits.  Another important criterion for most parents when looking for an appropriate summer school is to select the ones that impact life skills. Keeping these key aspects in mind, the summer school at WelcomHotel Sheraton New Delhi is aimed at building a community of young responsible minds. The schooling program will commence from 28th May until 1st June. The five day Eat, Groom & Play syllabus includes: Eat: Luxury Ingredients, Soups, Salad & Dessert Making, Mocktail Preparation, Ayurveda Practises, Tableware Etiquettes, Healthy Food Trends & Exercise, Society De Chocolat. Groom: Networking Skills, Travel, Global Citizens, Social Media Skills, Hygiene – Self/Food Safety, Environment, Health & Safety and Sensitization towards differently abled Play: Team building, Leadership, Nature Appreciation, Dancing, Lateral Thinking, Theater, Yoga & Wellness and Brand ‘Me. The fee is INR 18,000. The five-day Summer School shall also showcase a Fabelle Chocolate Workshop by Pastry Chef Neha Malhotra.
