DoubleTree by Hilton completes Golden Triangle footprint with Agra opening

Hilton Worldwide today announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Agra in one of the leading tourist destinations of country, completing its presence across the Golden Triangle of Delhi-NCR, Jaipur and Agra. The hotel, located at Taj Nagri Phase-II is owned by Delhi-based Archer Hospitality Private Limited and managed by Hilton Worldwide.

To mark the opening, the hotel will offer double HHonors points per night on stays completed till May 17, 2015. The Hilton HHonors guest loyalty programme allows members to earn and redeem points with their stay. Based on availability, Gold and Diamond members will enjoy upgrades to the exclusive Hilton HHonors floor. Additionally, Diamond members will get complimentary continental breakfast during stays and guests in the Gold category will have the option of complimentary breakfast or bonus Hilton HHonors points.

Set in the heart of the bustling city and minutes from Taj Mahal, the 104-room hotel is among very few hotels offering views of the magnificent mausoleum. The hotel is also near popular attractions and shopping districts including the Agra Fort, Akbar's Tomb, Jama Masjid and Kinari Bazaar. It is located about 6km from the Agra Cantonment Railway Station. Guests driving from Delhi can also access the hotel from the Yamuna Expressway.

DoubleTree by Hilton Agra features 104 guestrooms, including four suites, all equipped with modern amenities, including the hotel chain's signature Sweet Dreams by DoubleTree sleep experience bed, Wi-Fi, 42-inch HDTV with premium channels, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar, electronic safe, and a three or four-fixture bathroom with a walk-in rain shower. Each one-bedroom suite additionally includes a separate living room, dining area and powder room. The luxurious Presidential Suite is equipped with a pantry and a walk-in closet in addition to a bedroom and living room.

Guests will get to choose from four dining venues at the hotel, including: North 27, the all-day global cuisine restaurant; Kebab-E-Que, a restaurant serving North-West Frontier cuisine; Plush Bar; and The Food Store, an all-day cafe and deli that serves fresh pastries, sandwiches and beverages for dine-in or takeaway. Recreational facilities at the hotel include an outdoor infinity pool with views of the Taj Mahal, a complimentary 24-hour fitness centre, spa and salon.

DoubleTree by Hilton Agra also features a range of event offerings ideally suited to accommodate everything, from business gatherings to weddings and social events. The 3,840-square-foot Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 425 people and is connected to an open-air area. The 1,820-square-foot Coronation Room can be separated into three distinct spaces and accommodates up to 200. And Concourse is the hotel's multi-function hall that can accommodate up to 75 people. Guests can also make use of two boardrooms and the 24-hour business centre.
