Crowne Plaza Today New Delhi Okhla launches ‘Mitti Di Khushboo’ food festival

The Lohri special menu boasts of a mix of popular and uncommon dishes from the flamboyant state of Punjab. The festival will be held from January 13 to January 16.

Edesia at Crowne Plaza Today New Delhi Okhla has curated a sumptuous ‘Mitti Di Khushboo’ menu this Lohri. Guests can savour the depth and diversity of the Punjabi cuisine with plethora of traditional delicacies and unheard recipes from January 13th  to 16th, 2021.

Sumit Sinha, Director of Food and Beverage said,Mitti Di Khushboo tells you the story of the colourful state of Punjab through its food. One of the main highlights of the festival would be Flambé style Shahi Patiala Mutton station. Inspired from the royal kitchen, the dish will be slow cooked in a handi and would be reinvented by giving a flambé touch for a unique, caramelised spirit flavour. Even the quintessential Gur Paras will have a subtle spirit flavour with Flambé effect.

The guests can start with seasonal Lal Gajar Ki Kaanji and Kale Gajar Ki Kaanji along with quintessential meethi & namkeen lassi. The highlights of the menu include Rara Mutton, Handi wala Mutton, Fish Amritsari, Sarson Ka Saag, Pindi Kukkad Murgh, Keema-Kaleji, Kadhi Pakoras along with traditional Indian breads such as Amritsari Naan, Makke Ki Roti, Kulche, Mirchi Paranthe and many more from the Naanery. To conclude the dinner on a sweet note, the dessert menu boasts of Gurpare, Gajar Da Halwa, Jalebi and Rabri & Rice Kheer.
