Courtyard by Marriott Amritsar Appoints Rahul Sharma as their Hotel Manager
In his role as General Manager at Four Points by Sheraton Jaipur, he was responsible in attaining the first and third position in Asia Pacific amongst all Four Points by Sheraton Brands: Guest Voice Parameters 2017 and 2018 respectively.
RAHUL SHARMA has been appointed as the Hotel Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Amritsar. He comes with an illustrious 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry. With his approachable persona and extensive knowledge of the sector, he is set to lead his team to superlative success. With a sharp industry acumen, Rahul has been duly acknowledged for his leadership skills, innovative strategies, and pursuit to persistently achieve goals for the organization’s developments.
Being the force behind the hotel’s pre-opening project has been no small feat for Rahul. It has equipped him with the requisites to open and operate a property with international standards of service. He has spearheaded various initiatives that result in enhanced guest and associate experiences; along with financial profitability during and after the launch of the hotel. Above all his primary objective at the property is to run seamless operations and deliver stellar levels of guest service. He will also be responsible for positioning the property as a market leader in the city of Amritsar.
A seasoned hotelier, Rahul has a proven record of being quick to embrace change and exudes qualities of an ideal mentor by managing his associates with compassion. He has led a customer centric culture, while keeping a keen eye on guest demands and requirements. Rahul is a strategic-thinker who has accomplished himself in excelling guest satisfaction, revenue growth, brand compliance, and directing sales and distribution teams to success and profitability for hotels and resorts internationally.
Rahul has been preceded by an illustrious career. In his role as General Manager at Four Points by Sheraton Jaipur, he was responsible in attaining the first and third position in Asia Pacific amongst all Four Points by Sheraton Brands: Guest Voice Parameters 2017 and 2018 respectively. Prior to that, he was the Executive Assistant Manager at Le Meridien Kochi. While serving as Director North India for Starwood Sales Organization, he was responsible for the Management of Starwood’s Key Global Accounts, RFPs, Wholesale, MICE, Meeting Financial KPIs and Sales Liaison. Amongst his various achievements, he was awarded the Starwood Sales Leader of the Year 2010, Starwood South Asia Region, given by MD and RVP South Asia.
