He had joined Berggruen Hotels in 2015 and rose to many ranks from General manager– Special Projects to VP- Business Strategy & Analytics and eventually Head of Finance to take the position of the CFO.

KEYS HOTELS, a part of the Los Angeles based Berggruen Group, has announced the promotion of Chirag Sheth as their new Chief Financial Officer.

Sheth, a highly accomplished Chartered Accountant brings fourteen years of diverse and adept leadership experience in finance, accounting and analytics. He had joined Berggruen Hotels in 2015 and rose to many ranks from General manager– Special Projects to VP- Business Strategy & Analytics and eventually Head of Finance to take the position of the CFO. He was instrumental in implementing analytical tools to maximise revenue and strategizing growth through the capital efficient model. Prior to joining Berggruen Hotels, he had worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Cox & Kings.

Commenting on the announcement, Anshu Sarin, CEO Berggruen Hotels, added, “Chirag has been a valuable asset to the company by consistently delivering quality earnings and growth. We are pleased to announce him as the CFO and are certain of his commitment towards our business goals.

Commenting about his new designation, Sheth said, “As the CFO, in this dynamic environment, I would focus on ensuring adequate risk assessment and mitigation which is in compliance with the necessary regulatory and legal requirements in addition to support growth.”

Berggruen (Keys) Hotels has of today has 21 hotels in 19 cities and operates more than 2,000 rooms.
