Chef Tanuj Bahuguna has been appointed as the Kochi Marriott's new Executive Chef. He is an artisan with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Hailing from Uttarakhand, Chef Bahuguna is an IHM Guwahati alumnus who began his voyage at The Oberoi and has since worked with the Hyatt Regency, Kochi Marriott Hotel, and Le Meridian Paro Riverfront.
He specialises in contemporary Western and Asian cuisine (Fine Dining) and is committed to providing complete satisfaction to guests while contributing to the company's growth. Numerous guests from all over India have recognised him on Medallia and Trip Advisor for his extraordinary abilities in curating unique dishes. He is known among his colleagues for being focused and ambitious, and he is a constant source of inspiration for his exceptional culinary ideas.
