CHEF RAJIV Vimal has now stepped into the role of Executive Chef at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi. He has been the Executive Sous Chef at the hotel from March 2012.

Having started his career back in 1999, Chef Rajiv Vimal has a cumulative experience of over 20 years in internationally acclaimed five-star hotels and resorts. In his former role, Chef Rajiv Vimal served as the Executive Chef at The Park, Bangalore for over 2 years. Prior to that, he was the Senior Sous Chef at The Leela Ambience, Gurugram. Among his long list of credentials, he has been associated with other reputed organizations such as Hyatt Regency, The Oberoi, and The Apeejay Surrendra Group of hotels. He has not only worked in Food & Beverage production but has also managed kitchen stewarding in his previous professional roles.

Under his able guidance, The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel’s ‘Dilli 32’ bagged the Times Food guide award. He’s won similar laurels whilst his tenure at the Hyatt Regency as well as The Oberoi, Delhi

Being a frequent traveller, Rajiv enjoys nature, photography. He likes listening to music and is a tech fanatic with an avid interest in the game of cricket.
