Chandrashekhar Joshi joins The Leela Palace Jaipur as General Manager

Chandrashekhar Joshi brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to the role.

The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts appointed Chandrashekhar Joshi as the General Manager of The Leela Palace Jaipur. Joshi plans to launch the soon to open 200 room Palace, mirroring modern palatial grandeur, inspired by the Rajputana heritage. He will also introduce The Leela Palace Programming and signature Palace Service in Jaipur packaged with authenticity and the warmth of Indian hospitality.

Having over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Joshi has previously worked with Le Meridien Pune, JW Marriott Juhu Mumbai, Renaissance Mumbai, JW Marriott Mussoorie JW Marriott Jaipur. Before entering The Leela, Joshi was the General Manager of Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa.

Being a diligent hotelier, Joshi is capable of managing both city and leisure hotels. He has a strong business vision and a great team player. He is also a pre-opening expert, as he has ensured that his hotels step up while maintaining a strong market standing. He specialises in curating and delivering gracious guest experiences. Moreover, he has a firm grasp over the food and beverage operations, sales, and marketing.

Joshi possesses a Diploma from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Pusa, New Delhi. Being a fitness and yoga enthusiast, he likes indulging in bike rides and treks.
