Edesia, the global cuisine restaurant at Crowne Plaza Today New Delhi, Okhla, is hosting a one of its kind food fest ‘The Culinary Renaissance’, to celebrate the occasion of, World Tourism Day. This week-long festival attempts to celebrate tourism's ability to drive inclusive development and the role it plays in promoting respect while generating opportunities for many millions across the globe via thematic culinary nights.

“Renaissance means revival. At Crowne Plaza Today New Delhi, Okhla, we strive to revive tourism and celebrate the resiliency displayed by the fraternity during such extraordinary times. We strongly believe that restarting tourism can kick-start recovery and growth. With travellers gradually stepping out of their houses, we feel it is the right time to give a push to the sector,” said Shuvendu Banerjee, General Manager.

The festival will be celebrated from September 24 to September 30, 2021. There will be regional cuisine-based Theme Nights, with different cuisine every day. Professionals from the hospitality, travel & tourism fraternity will be given special offers.

“Every evening will be a culinary ode to the rich and diverse heritage of the country in the form of Thematic Culinary Nights. As a special gesture, we are offering special offers for all the professionals working in the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality sector on showcasing valid ID,” said Pradip Sinha, Director of Food & Beverage.

Few signature dishes from the menu include Peeli Mirch ka Chicken Tikka, Rampuri Gosht, Zimikand ke Kofte, Chapli Kebab, Kalia Rezala, Ruwangan Chaman, Nadru Yakhni, Murgh Zafrani Shorba, Baghara Baigan, Hyderabadi Khatti Dal, Murgh Ajmeri, Rajasthani Gutta Curry, Lal Maas, Bikaneri Dahi Gujiya, Ker Sangari Masala, Mahi Quorma, Galauti Kebab, Peshawari Boti Kebab, Fish Amritsari, Shahi Tukda, Awadhi Biryani and the list goes on. The team will also create a unique ‘Culture Gully’ to celebrate the essence of Incredible India and promote the idea of #TourismForInclusiveGrowth.
