Amit Kulkarni appointed as Director of Sales at Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel

Armed with a decade of experience in the field of hospitality, Amit has been associated with leading premium brands in India and United Kingdom. He has been a part of the Renaissance family since February 2015 and has been key in driving the sales and profitability of the Lakeside Chalet- Marriott Executive Apartments year on year.

RENAISSANCE MUMBAI Convention Centre Hotel is all set to strengthen its sales team with the recent appointment of Mr. Amit Kulkarni as the Director of Sales for the hotel. Under this designation, his responsibilities will include working in close liaison with the sales leader to ensure seamless transition and enhanced customer experience. It will also include active participation in forecasting and sales strategy meetings, mentoring department heads at the property and driving the sales force while creating a productive environment.

Armed with a decade of experience in the field of hospitality, Kulkarni has been associated with leading premium brands in India and United Kingdom. He has been a part of the Renaissance family since February 2015 and has been key in driving the sales and profitability of the Lakeside Chalet- Marriott Executive Apartments year on year. He has also been responsible for supervising the day to day operations of the Marriott Executive Apartments.

Previously, he was associated with Novotel Mumbai as the Acting Front Manager and was responsible for managing the accounting procedures, reviewing service standards and managing and training the hotel staff. He has also dabbled into the tourism business with his stints at Ubiquity Hospitality and Explore India Tourism as Director and Operations Head respectively wherein he was responsible for overlooking the financial and operational aspects of the organizations.

In the past, he has worked with prestigious brands such as Novotel Mumbai, Ubiquity Hospitality, Explore India Tourism, VITS Mumbai and Novotel Hotel, Sheffield England. Kulkarni has completed his BSC in Hospitality Management from Glion Hotel School, Switzerland and M.Sc. (Post-graduate) in International Hospitality & Tourism Management from Sheffield Hallam University, England, United Kingdom.
