RENAISSANCE BENGALURU Race Course Hotel appoints Amit Kulkarni as the Director of Sales and Marketing. A driven, gifted and experienced professional, Kulkarni will be spearheading the sales and marketing operations at the hotel. In his new role, he will be leading the management staff in planning and strategizing sales objectives, marketing communications and direct sales-force activities to increase profits and achieve targets.

Kulkarni comes with an array of experience and has always actively participated in forecasting and sales strategy meetings, mentoring department heads at the property and driving the sales force while creating a productive environment.

With over a decade of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry, Kulkarni has been associated with leading premium brands in India and United Kingdom. He has been extensively associated with Marriott International since 2015. During his tenure at the Lakeside Chalet-Marriott Executive Apartments, he supervised day-to-day operations and emerged as a key person in driving sales. He then worked as the Director of Sales, at Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel. Prior to his stint with the Marriott brand, he also worked with various brands like Novotel Mumbai, Ubiquity Hospitality, Explore India Tourism, VITS Mumbai and Novotel Hotel, Sheffield England, to name a few.

Amit holds a BSc degree in Hospitality Management from Glion Hotel School, Switzerland and an MSc (Post Graduation) in International Hospitality & Tourism Management from Sheffield Hallam University, England, United Kingdom.

In his leisure time, Amit enjoys travelling, photography and spreading awareness towards animal welfare and protection of the environment.
