AKSHAY SOOD has been appointed as the Director of Food & Beverage at The Westin Mumbai Garden City. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the food and beverage department and delivering excellent guest experiences. 

He will be leading the Food & Beverage team and his role entails the introduction of new menus, upholding Westin’s brand standards, ensure high-quality service, increase food & beverage profitability, and conceptualize brand-centric wellness food & beverage offerings.

Sood is a highly result oriented, versatile hospitality professional. He is a dynamic individual with decisive leadership, management and guidance skills with a proven ability to manage operations in intensely competitive environments. He believes in taking risks and synergizing operations to enhance employee performance for peak organizational effectiveness.

His career began as a Management trainee in Food and Beverage department, with Park Hotels group. He brings along with him an experience of luxury brands like Kempinski and JW Marriott with exposure in restaurants and events which enable him to have a holistic approach to Food and Beverage Management. His expertise lies in handling a diverse range of functions entailing Start up’s, F&B Operations, Training and Budgeting.
