Adaaran Resorts & Heritance Aarah Maldives reopens its doors to International Travellers

The company has taken stringent measures to enact elevated precautionary operational protocols that address heightened safety and health, to give the guests peace of mind regarding their stay.

In the enchanting coral islands and heavenly tropical lagoons of the Maldives, Adaaran Resorts’ properties - the premium all-inclusive luxurious five-star resort Heritance Aarah, Adaaran Select Meedhupparu, Adaaran Prestige Water Vilas, and, Adaaran Club Rannalhi are all set to re-open doors for guests from 1st September 2020. The extravagant Adaaran Prestige Vadoo, the first of the Aitken Spence Hotels’ Maldivian properties, re-opened its door to guests on 27th July 2020 with the highest safety protocols.

In order to provide the best in standard safety and hygiene, the group has announced #SpenceSafe, a programme to ascertain guests of their safety measures and immediate first-aid protocols to ensure an undisturbed pleasant stay. Collectively, the company has taken stringent measures to enact elevated precautionary operational protocols that address heightened safety and health, to give the guests peace of mind regarding their stay. These protocols are based on international and local health and safety guidelines and have been enhanced by the resident experts to provide all guests, a safe environment.

Commenting on the development, Joint Managing Director Susith Jayawickrama, said, “We are thrilled to welcome our patrons and guests once again to our enchanting properties. The safety of our guests and staff is of outmost priority and thus, the resorts will be following all safety and hygiene measures in accordance to the COVID-19 safe tourism guidelines and hygiene certification programme issued by the Maldivian Ministry of Tourism. We hope to deliver the best of the standards and make the stay for our guests a memorable one.”

Upon arrival, all guests will have to undertake mandatory temperature checks and will be required to adhere to the health and safety protocols on a daily basis during their stay.  As an add on, the basic amenities in the hotels will now include hand sanitizers and safety gear. Sanitization stations will be available readily and social distancing will be practiced in all communal areas comprising restaurants, pools and gyms across all properties. 

To minimize the risk of contact, based on the occupancy, the guests will be offered a-la-carte dining instead of buffet meals to promote safety. Menus will be available via scanning QR codes. Floor markings indicating proper physical distancing and breakfast will be served via in-room dining on demand of the guests. All available facilities and common areas will be frequently sterilized and disinfected.
