As the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Tamil Nadu market, Abhishek’s key focus areas include developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for all Marriott managed properties in Tamil Nadu. He overlooks 8 properties in Tamil Nadu including The Westin Chennai Velachery, Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa, Courtyard by Marriott Chennai, Fairfield by Marriott Chennai OMR, Four Points by Sheraton Mahabalipuram Resort and Convention Center Chennai, Fairfield by Marriott Sriperumbudur, Fairfield by Marriott Coimbatore and Courtyard by Marriott Madurai.

In the course of his career, Abhishek has displayed focused business development strategies and revenue enhancement tactics along with strong people management and development skills. He has been a recipient of various awards in 2016 like the APAC Presidents Circle Award, Above Property Team of the Year APAC, and Global Elite Award for Above-Property Team of the Year.

Prior to this position, he was the Multi-Property Director of Sales & Marketing at Kochi Marriott Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport Hotel. Abhishek also held the post of Director Sales at the Courtyard by Marriott Hinjewadi, Pune. He has been through various roles across different properties with Marriott International in India as well as other major hospitality chains like Accor Hotels and Taj.

In his leisure time, Abhishek enjoys a varied set of activities and loves the outdoors. As an avid biker, his passion for racing draws him to road trips more than often and explore new place.
