The restaurants are designed and named after the monuments like Jal Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and Hawa Mahal (Banqueting Venue). “To keep our guests entertained, we offer traditional folk dance, live folk music, city tour, Food Sherpa, safari and one can enjoy shopping in the in-house shopping arcade called Marwari Bazar,” Mattu puts in.

These unprecedented times have diverted the focus more on health and safety while stepping out. Keeping this in mind, ITC Rajputana follows the ITC Hotels’ ‘WeAssure programme – Commitment to Health, Hygiene and a Safe Environment’ reassured by accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH). The programme is DNV Platinum Certified under DNV’s My Care Infection risk management programme. Once you reach the property for your regal getaway, a shoe sanitisation station service awaits you. The security check is contactless and while it is being done, thermal screening is undertaken along with luggage sanitisation. Floor markings indicate physical distancing norms and the posters from the porch to the check-in counter inform you of the safety measures.

“We have a contact lite check-in/check-out service design along with transparent separators at the reception to ensure safe distancing. Guests are encouraged to submit all the details and IDs through online forms before they arrive at the hotel and they are allotted sanitised rooms to ensure clinical levels of cleanliness,” shares the GM.

Just like the other iconic restaurants of ITC Hotels, Peshawri offers North-West Frontier cuisine including Dal Bukhara, Sikandari Raan, Naan Bukhara, Paneer Khurchan and many more. “Guests can unwind at the Sheesh Mahal bar or at the pool side lounge, Jharokha.
